A few things to know.

Do I need an AI API key?

No. Repository analysis, deck composition, and presentation work locally without AI. Enable a provider only for optional features such as narrative polish, voice narration, or custom slide generation.

Does HyperDeck run my project's code?

No. Analysis reads bounded source files and extracts evidence without executing commands from your repository. An embedded live product must already be running.

What is included in an export?

PDF and PowerPoint exports include slide titles, purpose text, theme colors, and renderer labels. Interactive canvases, games, and live embeds remain part of the browser deck and are not captured as screenshots.

Can I add my own slides?

Yes. Add an included slide-app template with hyperdeck add, register a renderer, or use hyperdeck generate with a configured AI provider to create a slide app from a prompt.
